If you have an opener with battery backup this may help. BBU stands for 'battery back up.'

This is battery related. On top of your unit is a battery pack with three colored led lights. You can tell what is going on by looking at these. This information is in your manual or here it is.
GREEN LED: All systems are normal. A solid LED light indicates the batteries are fully charged. A flashing LED indicates the batteries are being charged. NOTE: Batteries do not have to be fully charged to operate the motor unit. YELLOW LED: The motor unit has lost power and is operating off of the BBU. A solid LED with beep, sounding approximately every 2 seconds, indicates the motor unit is activating the door and is operating off of the BBU. A flashing LED with beep, sounding every 30 seconds, indicates batteries are low. Once the power is restored the BBU will recharge. This is indicated by a flashing GREEN LED. RED LED: An error has been detected and the BBU will automatically shut off. The BBU will attempt to restart by reconnecting to the batteries. If the error is still present it will shut itself off again. This process will repeat every 5 minutes or until the error has been resolved. This is used to prevent further draining of the batteries. If a red LED remains on when the power is restored, and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds, please call for service.

Coromaster B2B Garage Door Opener. It only opens the door halfway?

Question edited for clarity.

This is an older model. Either the weight of the door is borderline for the motor and that is why it is beeping. The counterbalance system need adjusting. Or the carbon brushes on the motor need replacing. You can also try lubricating every single item that moves and the tracks to reduce rolling and sliding resistance. Use proper garage door spray or light machine oil not WD40 which goes waxy / gummy after a couple of months.

My liftmaster garage door openers as a constant alarm noise. Not beeping. Just constant. How to fix?

Premium Chamberlain garage access systems feature an internal battery backup that will operate the opener in case of a power outage. The garage door opener will emit a beeping sound when it is operating off of battery power or when the battery is no longer able to recharge. needs a battery.
Hope this helps.

My craftsman garage door opener is beeping (2 hours). How can I stop it

Our garage door opener has a safety beam across the floor which prevents the door from closing on objects which are sitting there. This safety feature also makes an annoying beeping sound each time the beam is crossed. This tutorial will show you how to disable the beep, but still keep beam functional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn_vGe_7_x4

My garage door opener beeps frequently but operating well. What is the issue & how can i resolve?

Hello,
Sounds to me like your backup batteries are low. The back up batteries are there for use should you use power. You can try this -
  1. Unplug the garage door opener.
  2. Get into the back up battery compartment.
  3. Now unplug the connector to the battery pack and replug it in. This might help but if you continue to have this beeping then you will have to replace the backup batteries. You will not suffer any mechanical problems unless your electricity goes out.

Chamberlain silent 3/4 hp red led on side and hear beeping sound garage door opens and closes, but the beeping sound is annoying? what is causing it

This beeping is actually the battery back up unit making this sound. It either means there is no power to the outlet and it is using stand by power or that something is wrong and the battery is not charging correctly or will not take a charge. You can order replacement parts at chamberlain.com. Thanks BB

Unplug the unit for two mins. and plug it back in. That should stop the blinking & beeping, but blinking & beeping mean a problem. What kind of operator do you have? Maybe I can help you troubleshoot the problem.
