HP Laserjet 4350dtn Print Quality poor

The quality of documents (B & W) is poor. There seems to be vertical strips where the quality suffers. It just seems faded. Does this mean I need a maintenance kit?

Most likely the fuser has lost part of the teflon from the heat roller. Having said that, the first step in any print quality issues is to change the toner cartridge. good luck!

Poor print quality of images on envelopes

clean the print head 3 times, then realign the head .these are done by printer utility software given with the printer.
Even not ok.
Then Replace the New Catridge.(manufactured from within 3 of 4 months).because the ink will be dried with in 6 month. So Buy Carefully with Mfd Date.

Thank you

About 15mm dark hadow vertical line on the page.

Sounds like its time for a new drum/print cartridge. When it get worn you start to get poor quality prints and sometimes lines. COule also be scratched and transfering the line on the prints but in either case needs to be replaced.

Poor, faded print quality on left and right sides of paper

Have you check the teflon at the heater? have you clean the reflector of laser? Try that.

Poor quality smudge and ink blotting marks in the centre of any printed document

Try performing a test by printing a test page from Tray 1 and open the top cover as soon as the paper is 60% inside. The paper would jam below the toner cartridge before it reaches the fuser. Remove the toner cartridge carefully and verify if the smudges occur. This would eliminate the fuser. If the print quality is fine, then you need to swap the fuser.
