I'm guessing it's something with IE 7. Is there a little information bar (yellow) across the top of the browser's viewable area? If so, click on it and look at your options.

Gud day sir,i reformated my hp pavilion t2250 but no audio devices found.

Yes, this happens dani_cueva.

It's no big deal, just download, then install the appropriate audio driver from HP Support,

HP Support > Pavilion dv9000t Notebook PC > Software and Drivers Downloads, Vista operating system,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3224058#N150

Left-click on the + sign next to - Driver - Audio

Left-click right on the blue file name - Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver

You'll be taken to another page. On this page go down to the heading - Details and specifications
To the right of - File name: click on the blue - sp35849.exe [1/1, 3.57M]

A small window will pop up, Opening sp35849.exe
Left-click on - Save File

Another small window will pop up.
Write down what is in the top header of this window. This is where the file will download to.

It may state Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads in the wording.
{Desktop, or Documents, or Downloads, for Win Vista, and Win7}

Desktop: The file - sp35849.exe will be on your desktop screen. (With a yellow folder icon next to it)

My Documents: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.
{Documents: Left-click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents, for Vista and Win7}

Downloads: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents. Double-Click on Downloads.

{Left-click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents. Double-Click on Downloads, for Vista and Win7}

When you see the file name Double-Click right on it.
Follow the easy instructions of the Installation Wizard.
(Or find the file with .exe behind it, and double-click on this file)

Restart your computer if not asked to do so.

For XP there are two driver files listed. If you have a Conexant audio device, you have to download, and install the second audio file first -
Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp32646)

Then download, and install the top driver file -
Conexant High Definition Audio Driver

[ A Driver is a small piece of software that allows the operating system (WinXP, Win Vista, Win7) to 'communicate' with a device.
With no driver Windows won't see the audio device installed ]

I am not to good on the computer ,Ijust like to play around on it.But my husband got a new Windows Vista and now i can not find my address book or bubbies screen names, I also went to change mp password,...

www.findanything.com just kidding lol

If you're trying to use windows vista in the same way you used previous operating systems
you may be out of luck because windows vista is a whole new critter.

my recomendation is give it time , learn more about aol compatability with windows vista

you can also turn off the security features in windows vista that pop up every time you try to do something.

I consider this a passive solution but none the less a step farther down the road for you're learning experience as a computer user.

What do i do if i have forgottin password

Okay, you have to pull this move on another computer if you can not log in the one with the problem. Make sure the computer you will be using has a CD burner program.
  1. First google (OPHCRACK) the first on the list should be the one you want. click Download ophcrack LiveCD.
  2. Once you're in, click the download link that says: Ophcrack XP LiveCD, or if you have Windows Vista, click the one for Vista.
  3. Now burn the ISO image to a CD.
  4. Put the CD in the drive (Computer with the problem) and reboot your computer.
  5. You should then get a menu with the Ophcrack name on the top of the page. On that same page, click on the top option that says: Ophcrack Graphic mode.
  6. It should now take you to a users interface while scaning for password(s).
  7. Use the users name on the right of the screen as well as the anti-password to the left of the screen.

Need to install my Canon S900 photo printer to new laptop running windows vista SP1

Hi,
Adding a printer in Vista is fairly similar to the process used in Windows XP, with only a few subtle differences. If your new printer is connected to a USB port, it will be automatically detected and you won’t have to do anything further. Vista will automatically install the printer drivers and configure the printer for you. The logical printer will appear within the Printers folder where you can make any changes to its configurable properties. In some cases, you may have to manually install the printer using the Add Printer Wizard. Once you physically attach the printer to your computer and turn it on, you can complete the steps listed below.
  1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Sound then Printers.
  3. Click Add a printer. This launches the Add Printer Wizard.
  4. Click Add a local printer.
  5. Use the drop down arrow to select the port. Click Next.
  6. Select the Manufacturer of your printer and the model. Click Next. If your printer is not listed, click the Have Disk button. You’ll need to locate the manufacturer-supplied drivers on your computer or disk.
  7. Type in a name for the printer. This is the name that will appear under the printer icon in the Printers folder. Click Next.
  8. If you want to print a test page, click the Print a test page button. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish at the Summary window.
To download the drivers, Please click on the below link or copy the URL and paste it in your web browser. Select the operating system you are using and click on the download to download the driver.

Hello

Usually you can download complete drivers and scanning applications from the manufacturer's support web site. I usually throw my CD's away and download the most recent drivers and software off of the site - even when the printer is new the drivers on the manufacturer's site are usually more recent than the ones on the CD.

We just bought the samsung s73 camera on the box it said it was vista compatible but the cd for it doesnt have vista listed on it

The thing with Vista, it will automatically update the driver for you. As long as it accepts the cd and the cd runs okay you will be fine. If Vista does not like something it will tell you. Once you run the cd connect the camera and Vista will do the rest.

You can go to Samsungs website, but I think the software is the same.

http://www.samsung.com/us/

put the cursor over support and click download center
Search by category
Select group: Cameras and Camcorders
Select a Product Type: Camera
Select a Product Subtype: S series
Select a Model: Scroll to S730

Scroll down on the page to DjVu View click on it and it will take you to the next page
Select Windows
It will take you to the next page This is Version 6.1.1 released
02/2007

On the disk it should tell you the version. Put the disk in the computer, let it load and go to Start, computer double click on the the disk name and you should be able to find the version. I would think because it was released this plug in was released in early 2007 it would be the same as the disc.

Any other questions let me know.
