My 2 group astoria over steams from top of boiler.it warms up then in about half hr steam shoots out at the preasure valve doicky do i need a new one of those thanks greg

The pressure releive valve is pre-factory set to open if the pressure in boiler reach between 1.6 to 1.8 bars.
So either you have the presure switch (presostat) not working normal which supose to switch off the electrical element at 1.2 to 1.3 bars.
So look at the presure gauge at which presure the presure releive valve open and releive the steam out from boiler if it shown more than 1.5 bar the you need to check the presure switch since it does not switch off the heating element.
If the presure releive valve open below 1.5 bar then you need to replace the releive valve.

Bad control board?

This is a good one! I would check for a blocked vent or intake pipe first. Also check to make sure the condensate lines are free of moisture or debris. What is the code for three blinks?

Red light

if the oil light is staying on it could be one of many things ,it could be a very cheap oil presure switch or something very expensive if it is an oil pump failure.start with doing an oil presure test . presure should be 14 to 57psi(2.0to5.0bar)@3000rpm. oil at 60c
if all is ok check cable going to switch for breaks or touching frame and shorting out,if thats all ok next change oil presure switch . if the test do not produce the results to spec then the right hand side off engine will need be striped down to replace the oil pump and inspect the internal engine componants for oil starvation damege which could result in a complete engine overhaul. i would not be using the bike until repaired. engine seizer can result in an accident.

I have a bosch 24cdi rsf combination boiler reaching 3 bar pressure and blowing off through release valve. any suggestions.

if this occurs when the unit is in use for only hot water, there will be an internal leak in the secobndary heat exchanger, you will have to replace it. check first that the charging link has been removed when testing to ensure it is not passing.
if it happens when the heating is switched on then check the presure in the expansion vessel ( dump all presure from system and use a car foot pump with a gauge there should be 1 bar presure) that is the big red thing behind the pump, if water comes out of the test valve on the front of it when you try to test it or it wont hold the presure you will have to replace it (a nasty job you have to strip half the boiler) if you can pump it up make sure you release the presure in the system as you pump it or you will get a false reading
