Hi - I have never come across a code 24 but in hind sight all codes from 17 - 32 are comm related errors ranging from one form or another and often due to mismatched components - noted as you have exchanged the controller module - these do look similar but the important code is the product number found on the sticker at rear of the machine - they represent the parts inserted into a particular range although it may say IWL15 or GWL12 but do have identical components under the hood if can follow me on this.

Sorry cannot be more useful - without actually seeing the machine i cannot be 100% certain as what is actually causing the error.

Gwl 11 wont rinse or spin

(00000101) Phase 1 - Communications Fault
The Display Module has had difficulty communicating with the Motor Controller.
Primary Source: Display Module.
Action: Turn off at the wall and on again after 5 seconds and try again.
1. Undo 2 screws at the back
Check connections of the 12 way harness for bad contacts,
corrosion etc.
2. Check for moisture in the console area. Dry out if necessary
2. If still faulty, replace the Display Module
3. If still faulty, replace the Motor Controller. If the new Motor
Controller corrects the fault, then refit the original Motor Controller.

Hi Lu here.Did you replace the rps sensor with the same one as you removed? Did you check for corrosion on the plug you attached to the new sensor ? And finally did you get the correct control module? By the way there are different models of RPS sensors.Sorry for the questions but I need to know what has been done. Please reply for further help.Regards LU

My 6.5 smart drive gets to rinse cycle then stops with it beeping until i press a button the led lights that stay on are 3,6, and 8 what does this mean. It's less than 2 yrs old. any ideas on this

That is Error 37 pump blocked.
37.(00100101) Pump Blocked Error (No change in the water level)
While draining, the water level reading from the pressure sensor has not changed for over 3 minutes. There are three likely reasons for this fault. One is that the drain hose or the pressure switch hose has been squashed or kinked and the pump out rate has been dramatically reduced. The second possibility is that the pump is partially or fully blocked. The third is that the pump is not operating due to Motor Control Module, wiring or pump failure. This fault could also appear if the machine is pumping to an unusually high head of drain hose or into an extended length of drain hose. The fourth possibility is a diverter valve fault or blockage, water level is not altering as the diverter is stuck in the recirculation mode, giving the module the appearance the pump is not lowering the water level.
Primary Source:
Action:1)
Pump System.
Check that the drain hose has not been kinked.
2) Check the length of the drain hose and try to reduce the length if
excessively long. A 39.36in / 1 metre extension hose of the same diameter fitted to the existing drain hose is the maximum allowable length.
3) Check for open circuit windings in the pump. (Note: Pumps are
fitted with a thermal cut-out, which will reset on cooling.)
4) If the basket is empty of water, remove the pump from the pump
housing and check that it is not blocked. Also check the drain hose is not blocked.
5) If the basket contains water, then service the pump from the top of
the machine by removing the top deck and inner basket. Bail out the water, remove the pump cap and hood and clear the restriction.
Secondary Source: Wiring.
Action:
Tertiary Source:
Action:
1) Check the pump harness is connected correctly to the pump. 2) Check continuity of the pump harness.
Motor Control Module module.
Activate the pump by operating the machine in spin mode. Check the pump is rotating. If it is not operating, and Primary and Secondary checks have been performed, then replace the Motor Control Module.

F&P GWL11 Washer Stops at rinse - Error Code 37

I hate to say it but it sounds like the controller. I used to have one that had a similar problem that was fixed with a diverter and a controller. Another year or two later it was doing the same thing, so we just replaced it. Just a warning.

Hi just read your posting.Have you checked the power at the outlet with a small appliance? If you have and you 100% have power to the machine then either your pump is open circuit or your control module is faulty.Have you or can you borrow an electrical test meter to test the pump.Because if the pump is faulty then hopefully your control module is ok.Please reply on how you would like to proceed and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.

Washing machine will not turn on.

Hi just read your posting.Have you checked the power point for power with a toaster or hair dryer? If there is power to the machine then there are 2 reasons why it is not powering up.1st-- the drain pump is open circuit 2nd the control module is faulty.1st empty the machine by hand so you can look underneath the machine by tipping it back far enough to see the pump. Now the pump will either have a red or black fan on it ,or you will see no fan and that means you have the new style pump.please reply with the type of pump you have and if you have or can borrow an electrical test meter and i can guide you step by step to find out if the pump is faulty or the controller or both.
