1.hanger!, the O.S is not properly install or you install a software is not fit to your system. if the setuation is always after you start the computer. Reformat your computer off the update

Try to on it in safe mode and in safe mode go to system restore point.
It will restore ur system to it's early version and from then u can turned on ur computer.

My laptop will not start

Hello,

If this is the first time that you turn on your laptop after resetting it to the factory settings then don't do anything while setup is starting services because you will just mess up the computer. It's really gonna take time to start the services. It's still in the set up process - it's loading some files on it.

just reseat the harddisk drive by referring to service or user manul... and then try XP setup... take care..
