You need a new sim.

Older sims aren't up to the demands of newer handsets anymore so they brought out more powerful and higher voltage sims.

Go to your local mobile phone shop and explain your problem to them and they should be able to sort you out a new sim. :)

What is the error you are getting while sending the message..?? try restarting your mobile.

heres a handy trick i use all the time for that go to nokiausa.com and download settings for the nokia 1030 to your phone that model has all the settings for usa i use this for all models of phones to trouble shoot messaging problems remember after you download remove battery and sim for a min then replace and try sending a message if doesnt work contact servics provider and make sure provisioned in billing system
