Are you getting just the white glowing screen and no pictures or on screen menu showing? If that is the case, it can be the T-CON board failure or it is not getting the 5v or 12vdc feeding it from the main board.

This fault is technically called 'retraced lines'. There are many reasons for this fault. It will be best to contact any service technician. If the screen voltage to CRT is abnormal [higher than normal]; this kind of fault can occur. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Plano tv samsung

Adjust the brightness until it starts making the black in the picture slightly milks and back it off slightly
Adjust the contrast so that the whitest whites show detail, too much contrast and they disappear
Adjust colour to suit, start with it half way, look at flesh tones on a news reader as a guide and adjust sharpness so you can see detail but not so that there are false or visible edges around things

How do i get my colour back on my dvd

Check whether what you are playing is in black and white. Try using a DVD which you are sure is in colour. Then check whether the system/format selected like PAL/SECAM etc. are correct and supported by your TV. Also look for any loose contacts in RC jack, cable and connectors, especially look for any loose strands touching the ground.

It is pretty much junk, sorry to say it but your picture tube went out and it is cheaper to buy a new t.v. My grandpa use to fix them for us for free but he passed:( If you call some where see how much they would charge for a picture tube, I bet it's expensive???

Manual for samsung es65 camera I would like to view my pictures on my samsung TV I was told I could do this direct from the camera to the TV just by using the a/v cable Is this correct and if so what ports...

You can download a user manual from here:-

http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201002/20100202195655453/ES65_ES67_English.pdf

You should have a AV cable with the camera, that has 1 round plug at one end and 3 round plugs at the other.

The single end plugs into your camera, there is a socket on the side marked AV. The three plugs at the other end go intot the TV.

They are colour coded (White - audio left, Yellow - Video and Red - Audio right) you need to find three sockets on your TV which match. Once connected and a slide show running on your camera, select one of the AV tv channels on your tv remote control.

If there isn't the 3 colour coded sockets on your TV, there probably is a couple of SCART connectors on the back (Big black socket with about 20 holes) You can buy adaptors, from electrical stores, which convert your AV cable out to a scart. Its just a box with the 3 coloured inputs and a scart output.

Samsung tv settings

it depends on what your using it for, adjust colour tones to what you think looks natural, contrast between 80-90, keep sharpness below 30. just have a play around till you find what best suits the source material.

Lg 32lc2r, only showing picture in black and white

Make sure that the color control level is set to the default or 50% to start with. This should be in the Video menu.

The colour for the tuner and for the encoded base-band video uses a circuit area called the colour demodulator. It is possible that this cirucuit area has failed and needs servicing.
