THe machine won't rinse. Displaying a "OE" symbol

my father had a zanussi dishwasher that did the same thing, turns out one of the door sensors had gone and would not release the lock. had to get an engineer out, luckily it was under warranty.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

LG's 'oe' stands for Open (door) Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

Check the drain hose located under the tub assembly. Something may have gotten caught up in there like a small baby sock or a thong underwear which is what I usually find.

An OE error code means that the washer is not draining properly. Pull the filter out at the bottom left corner to make sure that the filter is not plugged with debris. Read your manual before pulling the filter out so you don't flood your room.

check your drain lines and see if they are cloged because that is what it sounds like if not then try the pump
