KM-6030 or FS-6030. if it is the fs open the fron door, remove the waste bottle and replace it with a new one (they come with the toner). if it is a KM or CS 6030 that should be covered under your service plan. if you are running a segment 3 machine without a service contract you need to reevaluate your situation.

When you see "optimizing performance", the machine is going through a cool down cycle and will return to ready after the machine's internal temperature reaches an acceptable amount (usually appears after a large amount of copying).
