I have the same problem already described by others - water leaking out of the freezer. I manually remove the icesheet every couple of days to avoid water puddles on the kitchen floor. Any suggestions how to fix this permanently would be most welcome.

I turned the water off to icemaker and the water stopped forming an ice sheet at the bottom of the freezer--but the back completely iced up and now I need to fix the thermostat or defrosttimer . . . which may have been damaged after ages of dripping water or . . . and now am unable to get water flowing again--so whatever you do--don't turn the water off . . . just keep chippin away until there is an answer.
I have almost the same model, a FRS26ZSG. I just recently started leaking water. I noticed a spewing sound everytime I opened the door and after the 4th time a large water puddle appears and I then had to go check it every ten minutes to twist out the towel full of water - this is aggravating... I took off the front plastic cover but cannot see any visible water dripping down.. There is no pan underneath which is different from my last fridge but does anyone know what is causing this.. Is it repairable..? I have not had the ice maker ever connected so I know it's not caused by that which I have seen in other posts...
