If the reset is not work the problem could be the inverter board found inside the TV..
When you open the back cover of your TV by unscrewing it..After that the inverter board become visible.

After you replace that board your TV back to normal operation..

I have the same prob on a Vizio P4 (46 in pdp).
I took off the back and looked for something burned out like a fuse or resistor.
Did not see anything burned. This seems like a common problem but I have not seen anyone post a solution. Please help.

I have the same problem. My set is 16 mos old.
Screen is blank, but sound is heard on TV mode, but not on any other component input. Tried everything.

my screen has 2 red lines and i have audio but no video
I have the same video problem with the 42 " Vizio.........i have solved the issue by (1) turning the tv off.......(2) wait for a 'click' and (3)turn it back on immediately.......PIcture is clear and normal..........
Dont know why the video does not stay on the first time but i have to deal with worse things through out the day
