We found there is three small holes on the seal right inside the door, check to see if they are clogged with soap scum and clean them out. Run a cycle of hot water and bleach. Then, after each use, leave the door open and let it air dry and this has seem to work.

I have had the same problem with mine. I have started taking the rubber seal off at least once a month to clean it with bleach and water. I would not recommend doing this unless you are handy with tools. You might try cleaning the seal with bleach and water while it remains on the machine. Careful to pull the inner sealing lip down to get to the "Slime" behind it. Good Luck

Clean tub boot the best you can with bleach. Then run an empty load with sunlight automatic dish soap (verry little). Then this should clean and freshin the washer up. The best thing to do is not to shut the door on washer when not in use.

You need to manually wipe out the inner seal(lining) every time you finish with the washer. This is one of the main complaints with front loading washing machines. You also neep to leave the door open(ajar) after you finish washing so the machine can completely dry out inside otherwise you will get a buld up of mildew. Also run a dishwashing packet like cascade(yes the stuff for the dishwasher) when you run the clean cycle. It is the same as the expensive washing machine cleaning packets that the appliance servicemen from sears sells to customers.
