If it's an android phone, log into the android market website from a computer. Browse for the application Lookout. You can actually push it to your phone. Then go to lookout's site and register. You should be able to turn on your phones GPS and find it. As long as your phone is on.
Hello William,
To transfer files using USB devices
Connect the LG OPTIMUS M+ to your PC using a USB cable.
If you haven't installed LG Android Platform Driver on your PC, you need to change the settings manually. From the Home screen, touch the Applications Key Settings > Connectivity > Default connection mode > Mass storage only.
You can view the mass storage contents on your PC and transfer files.
You should performed the Hard reset. Follow this steps. First turned off your phone then turns it on again by pressing and holding End Key + Send Key + Down volume key at the same time for 10 seconds and release all keys. The phone will turn on and perform hard reset immediately.
Note: Hard Reset will remove all the data and applications on your phone and cannot be reversed.
Go to LG solutions online chat. They had me . . . plug my phone into the charger, then take the battery out, then unplug the charger and plug it back in three times real fast and then put the battery back in and turn it on which does a soft reset without losing data. It seemed to work.
Ok, I would say to reset your phone by code, just dial
Dial 3845#*54#
Now select Factory reset
But obviously it won't work because Android is corrupted.
I will leave this link which will explain how to hard reset your phone without using Android, and I hope it works. Hard Reset LG GT540 Swift
Turn the power off. If your LG Optimus M is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Home and Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device
All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the
LG Optimus M. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its
factory fresh state.
