You do not mention for which Yamaha model, but you may check this link for Yamaha keyboard spare parts. Just type in the search box the model:

Go to Yamaha America by phone in California: (888)-892-6242 ask for "parts" Have your model number and serial number ready and which keys are bad. I assume you are talking the keys are showing mechanical damage, as an electrical problem like contacts requires different parts to repair.

How do I fix a stuck piano key on a upright home piano

You'll likely need to try removing the keys, so you can see if something is stuck underneath it. That would be my first move.
In order to do this, follow these steps:

The front panel and the keyboard fall are designed to be easily removed for tuning purposes anyway.

To check it out....The front panel likely has a little clip either side near the top on the inside. Just undo these clips and lift the panel out. The keyboard fall should then be easy to lift out too.

There may be a long wooden rail which you need to take out also. Once inside, the keys themselves can be carefully lifted off the central spikes on which they sit.

Remember how you did this so you can get them back in again.

Since your piano is so old and worn, Often times, the wooden rail in front of the keys (just above your knees when you are playing) bows inwards a little due to age and temperature/humidity fluctuations. This then causes the little white front bit of the keys to jam against the wood and you have to physically lift the keys back up to return them.
If this is the problem you will need to take out the keys and shave some wood off the inside of this rail to allow the keys to move up and down freely again.
Or sometimes you may find you have a small object caught under a key or two. Much simpler to remove and free up your keys, if this is your problem..
Hopefully, this is all you will find wrong with your piano.
If all else fails...
I wouldn't attempt to tune your piano by yourself. I would seek out an experienced piano tuner for that.
But it is worth attempting to repair it first before you go that far.
Good luck !!

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano LCD Display back light That has gone dim can that be fixed to make it brighter?

Hi!
Most cases you can replace just the backlight itself, not the whole display. Contact http://www.telesisgear.com/index.html for the part. It's a relatively simple repair, but if you can't do it yourself, most any music repair shop or music tech can take care of it short order.

I have a Casio digital piano and some keys stopped working after my daughter finished "cleaning" the piano. I'm thinking maybe a fuse needs to be replaced?? Some keys plays and some do not. Any

Old reply so hopefully it's fixed. Dust or hair can get through the gaps and land on or near the contacts of the electronic key sensors. To be on the safe side (rather than doing a diy) take it in to the technicians. They'll have it fixed in a jiffy

White spirit is NOT what you should use. Mineral spirit leaves a residue film.

Use 99% isoprophyl alcohol.

ALSO inspect the contactboard for cracks by candeling with bright light behind it.

Kurzweil digital piano unpredictable voices and volume

The contacts of various switches and keys are likely dirty. They are often conductive rubber and need cleaning with 99% isoprophly alcohol and q-tip. Clean both the conductive rubber pill and th circuit board traces they contact.

Roland 3000 Digital Piano 88-Key Full-size weighted keyboard

It's not really for the faint of heart, but generally this is caused by gunk getting into the key circutry. Underlying the 3000's keyboard is a silicone pad with 2 contacts on it, the measurement between each being hit is the issue usually but yours just sounds like there's something in there causing a physical or contact obstruction.

What you really want to do is to remove the keys and clean everything but this isn't easy... You could try using 99% alcohol (from a pharmacy) to clean inside it which may well help you.

There's a good thread on a similar issue at:

http://www.electronicspoint.com/roland-hp-3000s-digital-piano-dodgy-note-t18946.html

Which may help you work out how to do the disassembly if you are brave, but I would start with pouring some alcohol in and poking it and hoping for the best 1st. It sounds crude, but it works amazingly well with some things.
