InFocus IN2102EP Projector My projector is connected to an Elmo TT-02s digital presenter that I use to show documents to my Students. When I first power on both devices, they seem to be working fine then after a few minutes my projector begins to search for a source. I have nothing else connected to the projector except for the digital presenter. I click on the source button on the projector but it doesn't recognize the digital presenter anymore and so it would bypass the source each time it cycles. I've also changed out the VGA cables and still it does not respond. Each day is the same, it works for a few minutes and then it searches. Please advise.

Most projectors have an auto search function which can be switched off. You can then set the source to the specific input that you are using. Of the problem persists it may be the battery of the Elmo. (If it has one) Maybe it isn't strong enough to send the signal and maintain it.

Good luck.

How do I set up my Elmo to a data projector & a laptop? Specifically, Where do I put the RGB cords - what get's hooked up to what? Thanks!

I am going to bet you got a manual with the TT-02rx that explains the connectivity. If not, you can go to www.elmousa.com and download the manual from the TT-02rx page. Look on page 30.

TT-02rx can be connected in a couple of ways:

1. Directly to Projector - connect a standard VGA cable from the RGB output on the TT-02rx to a RGB (VGA) input on your projector. This will allow you to directly display anything you put under the Elmo camera.
2. USB to laptop, VGA from laptop to your projector. You can connect a standard USB cable from the Elmo to an open USB port on your laptop. From the laptop, you will need to connect VGA cable from output jack to projector input. To view images from the Elmo, you need to have installed the Imagemate software on your laptop first. Elmo can only be viewed thru the software interface.
3. The last option is run VGA from your laptop to VGA input on the Elmo. Then run VGA from Elmo to your projector. This offers the greatest amount of versatility as you can switch between the image on your computer screen and the image on the doc camera. Adding the USB cable as described in 2 above will also allow you to use the digital features such as image capture, reveal, spotlight, etc.

My elmo document camera TT02s is showing widescreen. How do I fix that?

Not sure what you mean by wide screen. Are you viewing on a projector, TV or monitor? Or via USB to your PC?

How do I get the ELMO to display in color?

Elmo TT-02rx is a color document camera so it should work that way all the time. If it is not operating in full color, then you have a connectivity issue, a display issue or possible an issue with the camera itself. Are you connecting to a projector or a monitor? Or are you connecting via the USB cable?

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you want direct assistance.

Teacher Tools Elmo TT-02S

check the 2 little switches on the back it is possible that they are in the wrong position. for a pc or video projector the switches have to be in RGB.Check those switches and turn it back on .That is most likely your problem
