...and some run on r134a. if you are going to fill it, have the car running and then check the pressure before you add any fluid cause you will mess the system up adding to much... hope this helps

adding r134a to a car is simplified, as far as connecting it to the wrong port. There may be a blue or black cap on the port that you'll have to unscrew or remove before attaching the hose to the port
