Brother HL 1240. When I print every time, the first page comes out almost black, it gets better from second page on, but there are still black smudges. Is there any way to fix my drum. change the drum

Brother HL 1240 that's printing with a faded vertical along the right side of the page. The rest of the page is fine, just the right side, about 1.5 inches from margin. New toner cartridge didn't help
