Rough idle Last night I started my 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor (83,000 miles) and the engine would not idle smoothly. It will oscillate from about 300 to 500 rpm before stabilizing @ 500 rpm or stalling.
When idling the rpm's bounce between 500 and 1200. Usually it idles solid at 1200. Sometime the car will die. What can be causing this problem? Check your all vacuum hoses on your car.
