1992 buick park ave Won't start. Replaced starter and no go. If I cross the solenoid it will turn over but will not stay running. Any ideas? Sounds like your ignition switch!

battery/voltage gauge alway shoots right over to the high "red zone' it will sta there fo about 20 minutes after I start driving.Is this a major problem see if autozone will check your charging system

red) battery cable, if it dies it is the alternator. Well it didnt die it kept running. So now what???? (its not the battery as i have taken it up to autozone and they tested it and said it was fine.
