DVR keeps rebooting after a few minutes I cannot access menu controls unless I hold Zero to unlock it. But how do I solve this problem? Is it a malfunction that needs warranty work? Hard drive failure

SWANN for you. I would contact the seller and ask for a new DVR to replace what sounds like a defect. Possibly a hard drive issue. COnverting to AVI is not something that should only work occasionally
