wont start i have a pontiac sunfire 2.2 somtimes it wont start it will start with starting fluid your fuel pump may be failing. you might need to have it replaced but i suggest you have it checked out

It wont start. The battery is good the altenator was just replaced but it would start. It acts like it wants to start but it wont turn over. its your fuel pump a very common problem with those cars

1996 sunfire 2'4 wont start the car wont start Battery could be dead. If not then the ground wire could be loose or corroded. Fly wheel could be worn. Crank shaft position sensor could be bad.
