I'm not sure what that error means, but the first drive is usually drive 0 on computers. Maybe this will help. You can verify in BIOS. gl

Take a can of air and blow off the fans. One inside the little metal box called a power supply inside the main case.
Also the cpu has a fan and heat sink on it that gets dust built inside and needs cleaning.
Warning, always unplug the power cord. Make sure you are touching something metal in the case while touching the inside of the PC. It can protect it from static shock.

Also never shake an air can. And don't spray while it's upside down. The liquid can seriously burn you.

Leith, volume should be on remote or a manual button on TV

could be what they call the INVERTER behind the screen has shut down,try putting your pc to another monitor useing a vga cable.if the monitor shows your windows then you will know if your screen has gone.or the inverter.

check power supply or fuse,if nothing is lighting up.

could be dirt under the keys,take keypad out and clean

you may need toget new keypad,or trying cleaning under it,or check ribbin under keypad.

COULD BE YOUR RAM PLAYING UP. if you have two ram in there,take one at a time out and see if you start up

Need more info, like what happened before it did not power on or do you really mean that it powers on, but there is no display, in which case you may have to contact Acer tech support for more info.

Inside most laptops, there is a WiFi Antenna. I once also had an issue with my laptop allowing me access, and then flicking off again. So every time I tried to use a program called "Steam" I would be disconnected from the servers. Inside the laptop, there is a wire that is attached to the WiFi receiver, that gets plugged into your laptops motherboard, If it is loose, just disconnect it completely, then plug it back in. If the antenna is warm, or hot. That means it is burnt out, and will continue not to work unless it is properly cooled. You CANNOT cool a WiFi antenna, so it is best to either search the web, and buy a new WiFi antenna that is the same model and brand as the one in your laptop, or just buy a LAN/Ethernet cable and play like that. *NOTE - When you first buy a Ethernet cable, the laptop WiFi antenna must be removed, otherwise the laptop will switch between the two, and will make you periodically loose internet connection. Also, the computer will still (not as much) continue to disconnect, and reconnect for a while. Roughly 8-10 days, and then everything should smooth-en out. If you have a Windows 7 system, log into safe mode by pressing F8 when your computer is booting up. Select "safe mode with command prompt" and press enter. Wait until the windows login screen comes up and then a command prompt should appear. Type net user in the command prompt and hit enter. Once you have done this, you should now see a list of all the users associated with the account. Type net user "Your user account name" and then your new password and hit enter. This should reset your password for the following user account.

Right click my computer, go to Manage, then to Services and Applications, then to services. Scroll down till you find the application that is using your webcam double click it go to the drop down box click on it and choose Disable then click Apply. then you can choose to stop the program immediately or just exit out of all this and restart your computer this will prevent that program from starting when windows starts. An unresponsive touchpad could be caused by an issue with the touchpad driver. If the systems has a SYNAPTICS brand touchpad, Acer recommends downloading the touchpad driver 15.3.41.9 or later. The touchpad vendor can be determine by reviewing the information in your device manager as shown below.

2. In the Device Manager window, left click on the arrow next to Mice and other pointing devices.
3. Under Mice and other pointing devices you will find the touchpad vendor.
