dirty/dusty lens, try a lens cleaning disc... or remove the casing and gently clean the lens with a cotton bud and some alcohol (surgical spirit, window cleaner, Whiskey or Vodka also worked for me).

I WANT TO MAKE SURE THE TURNTABLE IS SET ON 110
be careful . USA voltage is 110 volt - see on the power input and lable - does it state 220 Volt or 110 . Usually you will find a selector switch on the power input side .to set the local voltage - otherwise you need a stepdown transformer
Poor sound/very low sound controls having no effect
That sounds like the main amp is failing. I suspect the unit will have one IC as the power amp, which will need replacing. You can have a look inside to see if you can see something like this:
If you do. Make a note of the number on it, it might say something like STK563. Then put your number into Google and it will give you a clue to how much it will cost and if it is obtainable. You can then either fix it yourself if you have the skills or take it to the repair shop.
I can not get any music to load on the storage unit
I suspect the "Pavit" is formatted incorrectly. Your computer will probably be FAT32 and it will not work with these files. It says in the manual to reformat (with the software provided) the Pavit using either "FAT" or "FAT16".
Very faint sound
I am not to certain why the IC would go if it has been dropped. I would put more emphasis on physical damage to the unit somewhere. Perhaps in the power supply area if there is no sign of life in the unit.
However if you believe the IC has gone you just need to quote the number on the IC. Put that into Google and you will see what it costs and where it can be found.
Subwoofer wont work
Receivers often have the ability to switch off the subwoofer channel. Especial if it wasn't connected before. If it has the ability to do a speaker test or set up try that. If it bypasses the subwoofer that will confirm the channel is not on.
