mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the blades need to be sharpened, refer to the shavers brand name plus .com for blade replacement or replace the shaver.

It sounds like you may have a bent hinge which is what the blade slides onto. Please call Andis customer service at 1-800-558-9441 to speak with a customer service rep. They can give you instructions on where to purchase a new hinge or send or clippers in for repair.

The blade assembly is either jammed or broken. I would remove the assy and test to see if it runs. If I you have isolated it to the blade assembly. (If not its internal and needs factory service).

Cost of repair is most likely more than buying a new one. Just buy a new one.

This styliner is crapt. I buy new clipper, right out of the box it doesn't cut, put a new blade on it, same thing. It doesn't matter how you adjust the blade, it does not give sharp line, and hard to do shape up. Andis Sucks.

On the Andis T-Outliner trimmer if the sharpness of the blade is worn out, all the tricks and treats won't make this blade to cut hair. The stationary blades are held on by a couple of screws. Loosening these screws will allow some lateral movement of the blades. Adjust the blades till the proper alignment is restored. Just like scissors, there must be gaps between the moving and stationary blades at one point, then the moving blades close the gaps which cut the hair.

But I noticed this pet clipper uses a snap on blade (or a combo blade as shone in "Blade Maint" video. Looks like it's mostly cleaning though I have seen other vids with clippers going dull during pet "rescues" having to trim matted hair. One lady used 2 blades and ending up using a 3d blade. It could be just that; really thick dirty hair. Try cleaning the head cutter below the main stem. Remove screws and clean old hairs in there, also lubricate.

install the clipper blades onto the unit properly read the user manual on how to do it From your description it indicates that the blade base is on the tang but the clipper is not inline with the activator and will click in a bit more
