apc offer schematics or BOM'sthere secret service manuals covers card (PCB) changes and jack names . if not too old their official service centers can fix it;.even out of warranty if it has recalls as many do. (smoker it.)why be here at all and not talking to APC.com DIRECT? WHY be here.it is their design and they made it in a factory and they do support it why not call them.? first for even ideas...step 1 is remove batteries and test them on a bench, google how to load test UPS batteries,I can .now what they say on their real forum APC.com"first off they do NOT want you inside (aside from safe battery swaps)that is simple dead owners never buy new UPS or upgrade ever,"case in point.240vac is really 340volts peak and is fully lethal to humans, not Doctor Teflon man (lol)step one is read your error logs files, using powerchute app free from them.top fail are batteries bar none we bench test them load tested ask or google it.step2 is log files to read. never skip this step.yours is the older 5kw modela tower?and newer ones are better.I guess you are not in the USA, (suffix "I" code )we have EPA/DOE banning most 10 year old model here, so that is huge problem state side.230vac line in?https://www.apc.com/shop/my/en/products/APC-Easy-UPS-On-Line-SRV-6000VA-230V-/P-SRV6KI

Place UPS into internal Bypass (Static Bypass) via the display. Then place unit back to Normal from Internal Bypass(Static Bypass). See if that helps. Or shut the unit down completely by placing UPS into Static Bypass first and then place UPS into external bypass mode, switch is located on the bottom front of the UPS. Please follow the UPS Manual to help you understand the procedures. Also recommend doing this after hours, not during business hours.

one is with the APP called, (free) Powerchute at Apc.com
or i use my serial console port
i login there using PUTTY at 9600,N,8,1,No flow ctrl
and type status. or type help first
this is DOS like CLI , effect with PUTTY
I type eventlog (at CLI)_
and see all logs, Esc = end, space = next page.
there is 3rd way using APC cloud but I do not have that.(overkill for home)
I have 2 connections to my UPS ,ethernet and serial console cables.
