Asko w6441 housekeeper pushed buttons too

Hello John, Welcome to FixYa. I can provide you with an Asko service manual that should guide you on how to remove the panel and anything else you may like to do as well. The service guide I have is an Asko W600 series ( that includes yours ) from Asko in "pdf" so I could attach it to the email address you provide if you give the go ahead. I'll watch for your reply. Regards, Macmarkus :)

I have an Asko 10504

Hello Helen,

Welcome to FixYa.

To answer your question, "i am trying to open the drain plug to check for buttons etc but cant get it to unlock. is there a trick to it? No not really. Just unscrew it counter clockwise,

however...

The issue with these Asko pump insets/filters....

i.e.

92835c2.jpg

they can become clogged with items such as coins, hair-pins etc. that can actually damage the part.

Unfortunately once they are clogged to a degree removing the filter by normal means becomes difficult or impossible without breaking it.

The image I attached above is an example of a pump I had to remove and disassemble to clean it out so the filter could be removed/unscrewed, hence the need for the "worm-gear" clamps had to be used to replace the original "one-time" clamps. That though involves removing the access panel...

plus the tub bellows and drain hoses etc. pretty involved.

If you indeed break this part during your attempts to remove it, a replacement is available, Asko original part # 88 010 69 and available at on-line retailer "repairclinic.com" for about $25-$30USD.

Let me know how you make out or if you require further assistance.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

My ASKO dishwasher D3120 is tilting forward when loading the baskets and both baskets roll out of the machine This has happened before when we first purchased this dishwasher

The top of the dishwasher is supposed to be attached to the underside of the countertop to prevent this problem. Open the door, and look at the top/front of the inside, and see if there are screws there to attach to the underside of the countertop.

Asko dryer T720 doesn't stay running when start button pushed

Bad contact on the unit's relay would be my guess, but I don't have a schematic handy to confirm.
