How do i reset the bios password

How to recover your forgotten laptop BIOS password? There are 3 methods, each method has its strength and weakness but I am going to talk about the 2 easy methods that works across the board for everyone. Here they are:
Method 1 – Remove BatteryFor desktop user, open up your computer casing and look for the battery. Remove the battery for approximately 5 minutes (maybe longer, depending on the motherboard) and slot it back. By removing the battery and deprive the motherboard’s flash memory of power supply, you are essentially resetting the settings back to default when the existing data in BIOS are cleared.

Method 2 – Reset CMOS With SoftwarePC CMOS Cleaner is the best CMOS password reset software, it works setting the BIOS to the default state or revealing the password.
reset_bios_cmos_password_motherboard_remove.jpgreset_bios_cmos_password_motherboard_remove2.jpgPC CMOS Cleaner is an easy-to-use tool to recover, delete, decode and display the superior passwords stored in BIOS whatever the brand is. It’s a useful tool for users to get their lost BIOS password back, or clean passwords from an old computer bought from others.

  • Support most BIOS, such as: AWARD, AMI, Compaq, Phoenix, Samsung, IBM, Compaq, DTK, Thinkpad, Sony, Toshiba and so on.

Why does my asus notbook not turn on and is blank?

Sounds like the battery is completely flat. Ensure your charger is plugged into the mains socket and plug into your notebook. Leave to charge for about an hour, then it should switch on. When you have finished using it, make sure it is shut down correctly and leave it charging over night for a full charge. (When it is switched on whilst charging, it takes much longer to charge.)

Unscrewed lids do not open, what's the trick?

Its really tricky to open no-screw windows of laptop back cover. It just snaps into place and be sure to used pointed and the slimmest flat screw driver. Sometimes, hidden screws are beneath the stickers.Good luckTedmac

Cannot detect webcam

I'd start by going to your device manager (Control Panel> System> Device Manager). Go to "Action" and scan for hardware changes. It should show up as Imaging Devices.

What is a ram? I need more detail so I can fix my

Ram stands for Random access Memory. It is essentially the short term memory of your PC. Looking up the specs on your laptop or Motherboard will tell you how much and what type is useable in your machine. Looking in the control panel ay"system" will tell you how much is already installed. Installing new RAM is easy by turning off your machine, opening the bottom of your laptop or side of your tower, Ground yourself (touch something metal) and unplug the old RAM plug in the new RAM. Restart. On restart your system will recognize the new memory.

Asus f8sn needs camera application, base drivers for win 7

If I understand the question, you need a driver for the internal webcam? Is that correct? You can find the Vista 32bit drivers here: http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&s=104&m=F8Sn&os=24&hashedid=qftS8eCcwNGdnMJY You will have to change the compatibility to Win 7, you didn't specify 32 or 64 bit? Use this procedure to change the drivers compatibility: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

I lose my wi-fi connecton

Make sure you have the latest updates for the operating system, as well as the drivers for the wireless card. Since it's intermittent, it's likely not a hardware problem (that is, nothing is likely physically broken), so I'd first try to make sure everything is up to date.
Hope this does the trick.

I have just purchased an Asus Eee 1015PED and find

It's possible that by doing different things (watching videos, reading articles, etc.), your usage is constantly varying to the point where the system has difficulty figuring out how much approximate power you have left. It's also possible the laptop is still trying to figure out just how many hours you'll get on a full charge.
With a full charge, let it drain completely without wi-fi on - once it's run out of power, plug it back in to fully recharge the battery. Then, unplug it and see what kind of life it's giving you. It's possible Windows just needs to properly "calibrate".

Asus F8P: Windos could not

let me guess that you are using windows XP as operasting system.
Check whether you can borrow a windows XP disc from any of your friends or relatives
You wont be able to purchase this disc as according to micorosoft windows XP is end of life (EOL)
The disc will say "microsoft windows XP"
Once you have the disc boot from this disc you need to go to recovery console
You might be asked which windows installation you want to logon to
press 1 and press enter
it may ask for an admonistrator password
leave it blank and hit enter
now you will be at C:\> if it is not type this command c: hit enter that will take you to c:\>
here you need to type the following command
chkdsk /p
once it is completed type exit and while the system is rebooting choose the option that says
"last Known Good Configuration"
This will fix the issue

Hello my asus keeps freezing

Sound like a heat or ram problem. Make sure it is not really dusty and has alot of breathing room when running. If ther is 2 ram sticks try them seperately and see if this fixes it. Good Luck

The audio system doesn't work

You have a problem with your sound driver. Try to install it if you have the CD of your sound driver. Check in the Device Manager if it is properly installed or if there is a missing driver for the audio. You can download the driver also from the website of the Model/Brand of your Laptop.
