or look at the paperwork that the warranty is one and that should have a contact no on it

Check out www.insidemylaptop.com for pictures but if you remove the four rubber bungs in the corners of the display bezel and then remove the screws, the front bezel will come away from the screen allowing access to the wires. I suspect there is a plug hanging out.

it's a powerful gaming notebook but it worth about $1000 (in different websites)
and this price is very high for such notebook.
you can buy better notebooks (absolutely with better hardware) with lower price.

what exactly do you want to do with the printer?

Sounds like the problem could be heat related. Do you run your laptop in a pillow or blanket or anything like that? Make sure it's on a hard, flat surface.

Make sure the air intake and exhaust holes aren't blocked by anything (including excessive dust particles). You could try and get a "can of air" and spray out the dust if you suspect there is a lot (ie. in a dusty or smoky environment). Make sure there is warm air coming out the back of the notebook so you know it's exhausting the heat properly.

Because of the very high CPU Usage, the right side fan will run more then the left Fan. Left side fan is for the Power supply. For this exhaust problem, use the laptop cooling pad while using the laptop which will solve your problem.

You can reset the BIOS following the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

you're antenna isn't able to find other networks wireless, because is is not powerfull enough to caught the lower freqvency on radio transmitter wireless .u need to buy a antenna that can recognise other wireless networks within the range on usb . good luck

To solve the driver problem, just uninstall and reinstall the said driver.

Please try this: Connect your laptop to a working monitor. Then use the monitor as your temporary monitor. If this works, then the screen in your laptop is broken or damaged. If this still doesn't work, your laptop might be broken. In this case, try formatting it.

I have the same problem with my Toshiba too, prima facie, it looks like Toshiba and Vista don't make a good combo. I suspected this to be a pure hardware problem, but was disproven when I booted in safe mode. It does not have any problems with the AC Power on in Safe mode.

try to turn it off the ASUS laptop and remove the battery. Then put it back and try to turn it on, if it did not turn on, call ASUS immediately for the repair of your laptop...

Try removing the battery completely but leaving the power supply plugged in. If it runs, you have a bad battery. If it does not run - you may have a more serious motherboard problem.

On the upper left corner there is a set of three buttons, The first one on the left will turn on/off the lights, the middle one is for overclocking, and the one on the right cycles thru the different video modes.
