Becker Code please
I have same issue, so I called a local dealership. They said sure no problem as long as you have the vin# make model etc. of the original car. Or you have to bring it in to dealer to pull code from radio. Becker charges 20 bucks as well with less info. Good luck
Hi
Just bought a car that
not sure what caused it to go haywire, likely something to do with the bluetooth. be that as it may you need to pull the fuse for the radio for about 20 minutes to reset it. if you can't locate the fuse for the radio just unhook the battery for that length of time. be aware that if that radio requires a code you need to know it and how to enter it before you attempt to reset it.
I lost the radio code from my BMW Indianapolis!
Go to your local BMW dealership with your vehicle ID # and the Radio serial #. The can look it up or call BMW direct to get it. Other Auto manufacturer's charge 20-25 to do this, I'm not sure what BMW will charge. Hope this helps

Car radio
On the face of the stereo is a * button. Push this button then use the numbers on the face of the stereo to go directly to that station. Example, my favorite classical station is 90.7. Push the * then 907. This station will appear in display. Then push and hold for about 5 seconds the preset button you would like this station to be. The stereo will momentarily blink to a different station then come back. Station set.
Am reception
I've used this radio for years. It's a direct replacement for Porsche cars up to about 1998. Installation is easy and make sure to get the iPod connection cable. It's an assessory.
About AM yes there's the 9kHz vs 10KHz, but frankly here in LA it gets better AM reception than the JBL in my new Prius. The only problem is you can't buy it in NA. Getting it from the EU is a pain. But it's worth it
