When I press start on my beko WTB720E1W washing machine it changes the spin speed instead of starting the selected wash.what can I do?

Hello sir please read my answer

as beko is Turkish made
You need first to cancel the spin program (or any program u wrongly started)

to do that
Power on washing machine
Wait until the spin program starts

Then press and hold your finger on start button for 4 seconds
You notice the middle led with "tub symbol " and right led " vertical line with a pointing arrow to it" are lit together (or if it have display u see the spin symbol flashing or the play flash flashing depending on your washing machine model)
wait for few seconds u notice it stops the pump and program cancelled.
Power off washing machine for 10 seconds then power on your unit is ready for desired program to select.
Note that u need to do the above steps to cancel the program u want to change.
Regards

I have a Beko dishwasher DFN16210W. When I press the Start/Pause button to the right the machine does not start. All the other button light up

I've had the same issue with a different dishwasher, and in my case two different possibilities had occurred. 1. Make sure the door is actually closed properly. 2. Make sure nothing is blocking the armature from spinning.

Beko wm74145w just moved house, machine went through 50 minutes cycle to 17 mins, no rushing sounds as usually does and now at 17 mins rinse light flashing and it's not doing anything

Michele that wooshing sound is usually made by water entering or exiting the main clothes compartment. This is all water movement created by the washers internal pump and initiated by the wash cycle switch on the dashboard of washer.Check for disconnected wires on pump and or wires to the cycle switch.

Beko machine tripping electrics at start of cycle. Seems to be while heating water. Put it on drain and spin to retrieve clothes and ran for the full 12 minute cycle without tripping. Thanks Barb

Barb ,the electrics tripping, THAT is telling you of a SERIOUS FAULT.... Bit of a job to sort out over web, but it seems as though the heater is faulty, tripping when THAT is turned on. You need a meter, on ohms range to check, and you will probably find a fault ( short ) from the earth connection to any of the mains connection. (if you can locate the heater element, under the drum, low down on there will be 3 connections, note connections, and MAKE SURE YOU RECONNECT CORRECTLY!! DO NOT TOUCH, ALTER, OR MESS WHILST PLUGGED IN /TURNED ON AT ANY TIME, it WILL kill you, and HURT YOU AT SAME TIME...) You could time the cycle, check when it trips out, unplug machine, disconnect mains feeds to heater element, and tape/isolate them, restart machine on same cycle, if machine NOW is running on longer, I would bet it is the heater element. (Machine will probably stay in this mode, waiting for water temp to rise, which it now can't achieve. DO NOT RUN MACHINE WITH EARTH DISCONNECTED BE VERY CAREFUL, IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT, GET A PROFESSIONAL, BUT AS YOU ARE HERE, I GUESS YOU ARE AWARE OF ALL SAFETY ISSUES. Check web for access to heater on your m/c. Hope this helps. Ray
