Cannot start the Bosch Series 800 dryer

There’s several things it could be. Improper voltage, door switch, control board, motor, wiring, thermal fuse, and I may be leaving things out.

Bosch Axxis Washer WFL2060 UC Fills won't rotate.Replaced Belt, started but stopped mid cycle. Replaced door switch, no rotation.

The motor probably isn't working - I suggest you begin by checking the brushes, which wear out and need replacing periodically.

Bosch next 500 plus burning smell in dryer

Sounds like to me, but I'm no expert, the heating element is "over-heating and not getting the m"air" it needs to cool down enough to keep from burning. Literally I mean burn because the way a drier works is there is a fan at the heating element to blow the heat from the element to dry the clothes and if the fan is filled with lint it can't blow much air across the element and causing it to have the burning smell. I would check the fan blades and those are usually connected directly to the drier drive motor. I wouldn't use the drier until issue is resolved for the reason being is you can burn out the element and have to replace it too. Hope this helps you in you quest to the repairs of you drier :o) Jesus loves you John 3:16-17 (KJV)

My bosch nexxt wtmc3300 dryer

Hello, Welcome to FixYa.

There are a couple of scenarios which may prevent the dryer from starting with Bosch, but with the most common there are two thermostat's/switches
which could be reset, plus a no reset hi-limit ( on the lint housing )... i.e. macmarkus_15.jpg ...which cannot be reset, but the hi-limit is the one related to heating...located on the heater housing and the other (emergency shut off/belt switch) is by the motor shown below.
Anyway,

To save time and back and forth dialog, I`ll mention the most likely and what to do about it.

**Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair tips suggested here please...safety first**

There is an auto shut off or emergency kill switch next to the motor I alluded to which will prevent it to start in the event it was tripped for whatever reason.
This is the most likely scenario in my opinion based on your post...but again it depends on your model.
This will require you to remove the back panel again though. Once you've remove the rear panel, It will look like this image below and all you need to do is push it to the right ( from the back )...

i.e.

macmarkus_14.jpg
Since you`ve already taken the back of the dryer off before to gain access you should have no problem.

Either Scenario I alluded to will require the removal of that panel so let me know if you require further assistance to do this.

The other would be resetting the hi-limit cut out, You can see through the back vent opening when the vent tube is removed ( cannot be removed without removing rear panel the first time, but if attached a certain way can be done each time after ) and then by pushing the red button in...shown below.

i.e.

Keep me posted how you make out or if anything is not clear or if your model is completely different...some have line fuses at the back.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

My Bosch tumble dryer does not activate when pressing the start button it bleeps twice and the door light is stuck on

More than likely the dryer door switch is defective and this keeps the dryer from starting.
