How to fix a Braun series 7 razor that will not charge in cleaning stand
I have a Braun 7 series that I use occasionally. The last time I tried to charge was unsuccessful. After several days on the charger still would not charge, I discovered the RESET button right under the Braun name. The charger cable has to be unplugged, then press reset with a paper clip and now works like a charm. Note: reset will not work if charger cable is plugged in.
Braun Series 7 760cc dead after 2 months
Had this same problem with mine. One month after warranty was done with. I ended up opening the thing up and pulled the monster battery out of its socket and put it back in. Worked fine after that. One week and still strong. Another thing I did was to carefully bend up the flat pieces of copper around the battery to make sure they were still getting a good contact with the pins on the cover. Hope this works for you....
- The black rubber/plastic cover on the back will pop off if carefully pried apart from the gray plastic. Start around the middle of the razor body.
- Once the black piece is removed you will see four screws holding on a plastic cover. These can be removed with a sharp flat head screwdriver.
- The plastic cover can then be pried from the razor body. Be very careful though as there is a rubber seal around this to keep water out. I broke mine.
- Inside you will see a somewhat large red battery with prongs on either end. Pop it out of its location and wait a couple of seconds. Press it back into position and you should hear a click for both ends.
- After this, I took all of the flat copper pieces and gently bent them towards myself (without making them touch of course... this could cause a short and potentially cause the battery to explode).
- Replace everything and see how it works... Hopes this fixed it for you and saved you $100-200. Have a good day!
Also... I am not responsible for any damages that may occur.

So a very simple fix is to just clean the corrosion from the battery terminals inside the thermometer. You'll need a Torx T9 screwdriver (Maplin, eBay, Amazon, maybe pound shops).
Looking for a service manual for the Braun 7570 syncro razer
It's actually easier than it looks. On the bottom of the shaver is the charging port. That black plastic piece surrounding it can be pried off. Do it carefully, so you don't dent/scratch the casing. Once removed, the side pieces easily remove. You'll now see screws holding the body together. Have at it. :-)

My Silk Epil 7 has
My Braun worked fine the last time I used it & would not come on when I tried it today. Worked on it & found it to be jammed with hair. Would not rotate. Scrubbed it with a toothbrush, started digging out the hair, forced it to rotate, scrubbed it some more, & rotated it some more. The more I worked with it the more hair kept coming out. It's rotating fine now. I think I'm going to clean it with my water pik. My Braun is the kind that can be used with water & the top part comes off. Haven't used it yet but I think I have fixed it. Wish I could get it apart to clean it out but the head of the screw is strange & I don't have anything that will turn it.
