How to reset " replace drum" for brother MFC-7860DW
Time to really order a new drum and really replace with a new one.
Resetting the drum unit will not improve print quality. It only resets your drum and allows you to continue to print. You decide when to replace the drum unit not the manufacturer!
1.Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge. Wait 1 or 2 minutes.
2.Replace the drum unit and toner cartridge into printer.
3.The error message "Change Drum Soon/Drum end soon" will continue to appear if the drum counter was not reset when you replace the drum unit.
4.To clear this error message, you need to reset the drum counter as instructed below.
5.Make sure that the machine is turned on.
6.Press Options.
To confirm you are installing a new drum, press 1.
7.When the LCD shows Accepted, close the front cover.
8.Your drum is now reset.

My Status light is blinking, red orange, green and It won't stop
This just happened to me! I found this fixya and it didn't help me. So I checked the status of the printer and it was trying to print some 3,000 envelopes, OOPS!!! Needless to say I cancelled the job but it still had to go through all of the pages before cancelling and finally stopped blinking!

Error 20 01
Error 20 01 indicates that there is a communication error on the telephone line connected to your MFC. Either the line is noisy, not connected or perhaps connected via a PABX or a VOIP modem or similar? so it will not work. Try plugging a standard telephone into the socket and see if that works. At the very least you may well be able to "hear" the fault. At the very least, the fault is external to your MFC and not within the machine itself
