My unit would display e001 and e003 errors. Cleaning the filter and replacing the ceramic ozone plate did not fix it. Ended up taking the board out and inspecting it. Three capacitors were bad. After replacing, the system is working again.

Most times the cover has an interlock. Look for something prijecting from cover and the a place where this would fit into. Align cover then close. If you dont see one then look under or behind filter. Also check the filter is installed correctly (direction of airflow). Remove power (unplug or circut breaker) then power back on might reset as well.

Continuous snapping is not normal .Remove both electronic cells. Make sure that there is no hair, dirt, sand or any debris on the bottom inside the Electronic air cleaner. If there is, remove what you can by hand. If a lot of debris is left in bottom of the Air Cleaner, you may want to use a vacuum attachment to see if you can vacuum up what you can.

depends on where you are and when you want the water treated.
for camping and hiking , water purification tablets are quick and easy methods and one of the best ( used by the armed forces )
if you want it for home use
running the water through a ceramic filter then through an ultra-violet purifier will get rid of all the bugs
for larger volumes an osmosis purifying system as used by the water treatment works in council water supplies is best
so you need to specific as to when you want the water pure.
boiling water is ineffective as it concentrates the bugs and doesn;t kill them all, however distilling water by boiling off and collecting the steam back to water separates the bugs

Are you really unscrewing it? (to the left)? If not, then perhaps put a hammer handle on the handle at the outside rim and thump the hammer with the palm of your hand..

Honeywell Air... | Answered on Oct 24, 2018

Normally Honeywell has NO replacement parts. Run it as is, then throw it away.

Ignore the lights. Wash the outer foam filter every two months. As long as air is going through the inner filter does not need to be changed. Blow the inner filter out FROM THE INSIDE with your vacuum cleaner. (blow air the opposite direction of air flow to get the nasty stuff off.)

i had the same problem. The goo pulled from the air gums up the small orifice atthe bottom of the stem that sticks down into the water. If the water cannot be pulled up into the stem and expelled out towards the bowl at high speed, it cannot work. Take the upper, motor half off, unplug it hold the plate with one hand and twist the stem 1/4 turn and it comes right off. Clean the crud (yes, its your own skin cells) and the hole with warm water and soap. put it back together and refill with water and it works like new. this is now monthly maintenance for me
