My Duralast Gold Jump Starter does not take a

There is a battery inside which may need to be replaced. To check, run the compressor (it runs off
the battery) - if the compressor dies quickly, then the battery has failed to charge and would
need to be replaced. You may want to check your Warranty Management software (or
shoebox) to see if your Starter/Air Compressor is still under warranty - if so, replace it.
Duralast products are carried exclusively by AutoZone, Inc.
The Duralast web site: www.duralastparts.com is useless - it only shows automotive parts,
and I cannot find the product at www.autozone.com, so it seems that AutoZone fails to support this
product with replacement batteries or other replacement parts (or even an online Users manual).

Northstar Gas air compressor M459392C continues to build pressure even after idle down.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Northstar+Gas+air+compressor+M459392C+continues+to+build+pressure+even+after+idle+down
  1. Pressure switch: The pressure switch may not be shutting off the compressor when it reaches the set pressure level. If this is the case, the switch will need to be replaced.
  2. Check valve: The check valve prevents the compressed air from flowing back into the compressor pump when it is not running. A malfunctioning check valve can cause pressure to continue to build up, even when the compressor is idle. A damaged or worn-out check valve may need to be replaced.
  3. Piston rings: If the compressor's piston rings are worn or damaged, air can leak past the piston and cause pressure to continue to build even when the compressor is idle. In this case, the piston rings will need to be replaced.

Can I use the Wagner 915 1500 Watt On-Demand Power Steamer to remove tree sap from car's painted surfaces?

It's possible BUT it would probably turn it into a gooie mess and you'd just smear it around and create a bigger mess. If you have any rubbing alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, around the house, this is your go-to tree sap removal solvent. We are talking about common alcohol, not some 100-proof stuff. You only need a dilute solution for it to work. Put a bit on a paper towel, micro fiber towel and dab it on. Gently wipe the sap off. Any rough moves with any solvent can leave a mark. Take your time! Let the solvent do the job, not the towel and your elbow grease. Rinse with warm water. Best to you

Craftsman Air Compressor. I have to press the reset button on it. Can I stride wire it?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Misc to correct category. By 'stride wire', do you mean just short across the switch? Yes you can but really you need to fix the problem. You know these things can blow up and spray shrapnel 30 feet? Google Craftsman (model) parts You may have a short in the motor, in which case, shorting it out won't fix it. https://www.google.com/search?q=Craftsman+Air+Compressor.+I+have+to+press+the+reset+button+on+it

IR IRN37 Compressor Fault Code 26

between the compressor's main control board and the user interface board. This can cause the compressor to trip with a USD (Unexpected Shutdown) fault. To troubleshoot this issue, here are a few steps you can take:
  1. Check the communication cables between the main control board and the user interface board. Make sure they are securely connected and not damaged.
  2. Check the power supply to the user interface board. Make sure it is receiving the correct voltage and that the wiring is not damaged.
  3. Check the user interface board for any damage or loose components. If there are any damaged components, they will need to be replaced.
  4. If the issue persists, you may need to replace either the main control board or the user interface board.
It's important to note that working on compressors can be dangerous and should only be done by qualified technicians. If you're not familiar with the inner workings of the compressor or don't feel comfortable troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer for assistance.

Mech Power M90002 - Tank Air Compressor. Can be used in Africa?

It is important to determine the voltage and frequency of the power supply in the country where you want to use your air compressor. In Africa, most countries use 220-240V at 50Hz as the standard voltage and frequency. If your compressor is designed for use in the United States, it may be rated for 110V at 60Hz, which means it is not compatible with the power supply in Africa without a voltage converter or transformer. Using a device that is not designed for the local power supply can damage the device and potentially cause safety hazards. To determine if your tank air compressor is compatible with the power supply in Africa, you should check the specifications on the device or its manual to see if it can operate at 220-240V at 50Hz. If it is not rated for this voltage and frequency, you will need to use a voltage converter or transformer to adjust the voltage and frequency to match the requirements of the compressor.
