You might check with Harbor Freight. Unfortunately the do not carry many repair parts., or check with small electric motor repair shop to see if the can help you. Good Luck

Depending on the model number of the charger, the light only shows whilst a bettery is connected.

There are no serviceable parts in this charger, it is a replacement item

There is a torx headed screw inside the chuck that is reverse thread (Right hand to loosen) - remove that then the chuck will spin off standard thread (Left hand loosen) Most of the time I chuck a 1/2" allen wrench into the chuck, mount the drill in a vise, and strike the wrench with a hammer to get the chuck off

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. The yellow and blinking red indicate a defective cell. Since it has lithium cells and is that new any repair to it would be a waste of your time. Ryobi tools purchased in 2008 have a 2 year warranty. I am guessing you probably got it at a home depot and you should return it under the warranty. All new Ryobi tools have a three year warranty. I have a wiring diagram that I could email you. I took it out of my Makita book and just made a copy of it.

You can try the website makitauk.com select parts then choose your tool. Unfortunately it does not break the gearbox down to any detail as it can only be obtained as a complete unit.
