I would like to know when will Walmart Canada online have the Arctic King 7.0 Chest Freezer E-Star back in stock?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Star Computers. Greetings from Toronto! It is made by Midea and sold to Walmart as a batch, "make us 10,000 at $100 each. We will sell for $280 until they are gone". All the retailers are out of stock including Amazon and Wilson's Home Store. Choose another make and model, bottom of this page. Home Depot, Leon's or The Brick are a good bet for Freezers. https://www.dontwasteyourmoney.com/products/arctic-king-arc070s0arbb-7-cubic-feet-chest-deep-freezer/

My kenmore upright freezer has frozen water at the bottom and is leaking frozen at the top also. how and I fix it

It sounds like you might be dealing with a defrost drain issue or a problem with the freezer's door seal. Try defrosting the freezer and clearing any ice buildup, then check the door seal for any gaps or damage. If the problem persists, you may need to consult the user manual or contact a professional appliance repair service for assistance.

Traulsen 6 half door moel 31300 freezer

To check if the expansion valve is faulty in your freezer, you can follow these steps:
  1. Safety Precautions: Ensure the power is disconnected and the freezer is fully defrosted before proceeding.
  2. Locate the Expansion Valve: The expansion valve is typically located near the evaporator coil in the freezer. It is a small valve with an inlet and outlet.
  3. Visual Inspection: Inspect the expansion valve for any visible signs of damage or leaks. Look for corrosion, loose connections, or frost accumulation around the valve.
  4. Temperature Measurement: Use a thermometer to measure the temperature at different points in the refrigeration system. Check the temperature at the inlet and outlet of the expansion valve. There should be a noticeable temperature drop across the valve.
  5. Pressure Measurement: If you have the necessary tools and experience, you can also measure the pressure at the inlet and outlet of the expansion valve using a pressure gauge. Compare the pressure readings to the manufacturer's specifications to determine if the valve is functioning properly.
  6. Consult a Professional: If you are unsure about performing these checks or don't have the necessary tools, it is recommended to contact a professional technician or an authorized service center. They will have the expertise and equipment to accurately diagnose and repair any issues with the expansion valve.

I have a Traulsen 31300 6 half door freezer that cools down to 28F but won't go below.

If your Traulsen 31300 freezer is cooling down to 28°F but not going below that temperature, and the compressor runs continuously except during the defrost cycle, there are a few tests you can perform to help diagnose the issue before considering replacing the expansion valve. Here are some steps to follow: 1. Check Airflow: Ensure that the airflow inside the freezer is not obstructed by any items or ice buildup. Verify that the evaporator coil is clean and not blocked. Poor airflow can lead to inadequate cooling. 2. Temperature Control Setting: Confirm that the temperature control setting on the freezer is correctly set to the desired temperature. Make sure it is not accidentally set too high or too low. 3. Condenser Coil Cleaning: Clean the condenser coils located either at the back or underneath the unit. Dust and debris accumulation on the coils can reduce cooling efficiency. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt or debris. 4. Condenser Fan Operation: Check if the condenser fan is running properly. The condenser fan helps dissipate heat from the system. Ensure it is spinning freely and not obstructed. If it's not working, it may need to be replaced. 5. Check for Refrigerant Leaks: Perform a thorough inspection of the refrigerant lines and connections for any signs of leaks, such as oil spots, bubbles, or hissing sounds. If a refrigerant leak is suspected, it could be affecting the cooling performance, and repairing the leak and recharging the system may be necessary. 6. Pressure and Temperature Readings: To determine if the expansion valve is the culprit, you may need to take pressure and temperature readings at different points in the refrigeration system using specialized equipment. These readings can help identify any irregularities or inefficiencies in the system. 7. Consult with a Professional: If you're unsure about performing these tests or interpreting the results, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional refrigeration technician. They will have the expertise and necessary tools to accurately diagnose the issue and provide appropriate solutions. By conducting these tests and inspections, you can gather more information to make an informed decision about replacing the expansion valve or pursuing other potential causes for the inadequate cooling.

We have a true T49F freezer and the evaporator

Freezers have a sensor that is referred to as a "Fan Delay/Defrost Terminator". It senses the temp during the defrost cycle. Usually, when the evap temp reaches about 50 degrees, there should not be any frost or ice on it. This device terminates the defrost cycle. It also keeps the fans off so warm air is not circulated. When the evap gets to about 20 degress or so, the sensor switches on the evap fans. If the fans are not coming on, either the sensor is bad or the evap is not reaching the proper temp to cause the sensor to turn on the fans.

Hope is helps to clear up some things and point you in a direction as to what might be going on.

True T-35F-HC 40" Solid 2-Door Reach-In Freezer. It shorted and is now running hot. Could it be stuck in defrost mode or something more serious?

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'. Question moved to model category. I endured a 50 year career in catering and many years fighting refrigeration. The thing I learned that the only thing a normal person / manager / owner could do is clean the condenser fins. anything else is the domain of the refrigeration engineer. It could be stuck in defrost mode if the defrost cycle is like a heat pump and reverses the cycle to heat the evaporator and cool the condenser. The other possibility is a faulty control board. The only way to fix is to call for service. Tell the engineer everything that happened, as it will speed his diagnosis. True are a great brand. The place I retired at Toronto Airport was full of them. https://www.google.com/search?q=True+t35f+heating+cabinet ..

AEG Arctis, type FN 18032, model75238-GA

Just fixed a similar model from Electrolux. It's not the fan that was faulty, but its transformer on the pcb. The fan has its own pcb, a small one on the left side and is controlled via 230V from the main board. It's easy to remove, turn around and measure.
