The creation of the sky garden not only attracts travelers by the uniqueness, but also reduces significantly the heat from the sun to work underneath.
1.Waldspirale, Darmstadt, Germany
Apartment with a unique roof was completed in 2000. The name of the building means that the spiral forest by shrubs and grasses are planted in a spiral-shaped terrace extends from level 1 to 12. In there is a cafe, travelers can sip a beer while contemplating the surrounding scenery.
2.ACROS, Fukuoka, Japan
14 floors building roof is covered with greenery, designed by Argentine architect: Emilio Ambasz, looks like a pyramid rises in Fukuoka City. Each roof here is a natural wonder in the forest with a variety of plants to a waterfall. Altogether, more than 50,000 species of plants are grown in this garden. To visit, travelers will enter through a large door, inside the galleries, exhibition halls, offices, shops and a symphonic room.
3.Roof Gardens Rockefeller Center, New York, USA
Although not often open to travelers, but the garden on the roof of Rockefeller Center building became famous after appearing in films like Spiderman (2002) and Fantastic Four (2005). To complete this garden, builders had to put up here 3,000 tons of soil, 500 tons of bricks and 100 tons of stones, 2,000 trees.
4.Gardens by the Bay, Singapore
Opened in 2012, this garden is one of the famous tourist destinations in Singapore. Featured here greenhouse Cloud Forest area, inside there is a 35m high waterfall with exotic vegetation shrouded in fog. Travelers can walk through a walkway leading nine tropical habitats.
5.Namba Parks, Osaka, Japan
Was completed in 2003 by the American architect: Jon Jerde, this garden is sparkling like camouflage shirt of a business center in Osaka. Even people also plan to grow vegetables here.
6.Kensington Roof Gardens, London, UK
This is a green rooftop garden was designed by Ralph Hancock Wales from 1936 to 1938, is located in the district of Kensington, London. With an area of 6.000m2, the garden includes a fountain, palm trees and ferns, flowers and even flamingos.
