What is the difference with regular cataract surgery and laser cataract surgery
Normal cataract surgery uses a phacoemulsification unit. This unit unit has a small tip on the end of it which uses a jackhammer type motion, it is irrigating as well as aspirating the eye to remove the debris from the eye (loosened catatact) while not collapsing the eye.
The laser technique is an alternative way to break up the cataract yet it still will need irrigation and aspiration for removal.

After turning on the ecg machines [Bionet cardio care 2000 12 channel] the machine say paper is empty while paper roll is already there. Please explain why it says paper is empty
If your Bionet CardioCare 2000 ECG machine is indicating that the paper is empty even though the paper roll is correctly loaded, there could be a few reasons for this issue:
- Paper Jam: Even though you've loaded the paper roll, there might be a paper jam inside the machine that is preventing the paper from feeding properly. Check if there's any paper stuck or misaligned within the paper path.
- Paper Not Loaded Correctly: Ensure that the paper roll is properly loaded and inserted into the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Sometimes, improper loading can cause the machine to not detect the paper correctly.
- Paper Sensor Issue: The machine has sensors that detect the presence of paper. There might be a malfunction with the paper sensor, causing it to inaccurately detect the absence of paper. Dust or debris could be affecting the sensor's operation.
- Paper Roll Compatibility: Ensure that you're using the correct type and size of paper roll that is compatible with the Bionet CardioCare 2000. Using the wrong paper could lead to detection issues.
- Sensor Calibration: There might be a need to recalibrate or reset the paper sensor if it's misaligned or malfunctioning. This would likely require referring to the user manual or contacting the manufacturer's support for guidance.
- Machine Error: There could be an error or malfunction within the machine's internal components that is causing it to incorrectly display the "paper empty" message.
In any case, I recommend the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
- Carefully review the user manual to ensure that you've loaded the paper correctly and followed all the steps accurately.
- Check for any visible paper jams or misalignments within the paper path.
- If possible, power cycle the machine by turning it off, waiting for a minute, and then turning it back on. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve minor issues.
- Clean the paper sensor area and the paper path to ensure there's no dust or debris affecting the sensor's operation.
- If none of the above steps work, consider contacting Bionet's customer support or a qualified service technician for further assistance. They should be able to guide you through troubleshooting or provide professional help to resolve the issue.
Please note that specific instructions could vary based on the model and its specific design, so referring to the user manual and manufacturer's support is essential for accurate troubleshooting.

If your GE Mac 1200 ECG machine is not printing the interpretation, even though the interpretation option is marked as "Y," there may be a problem with the printer, the cables, or the settings.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
- Check the printer to ensure it is turned on and properly connected to the ECG machine. Make sure the cables are securely plugged in and not damaged.
- Check the printer settings to ensure the interpretation option is enabled. You can do this by pressing the "Setup" button on the ECG machine and navigating to the "Printer" menu.

What do they mean by low heart rate?
The normal heart rate is really an average heart rate, around 80 beats per minute. Many things can make it go faster or slower, including activity, medication, drugs, exposure to insectisides or mushrooms and others. A slow heart rate is called bradycardia, usually around 60 beats per minute. Sometimes the electrical nodes in the heart which help to make the heart start a new beat quit or work incorectly. In these cases medication or a pacemaker are required. I hope this answers your question.
