Brushless 18vlt paddle switch grinder will start up then cuts out then repeats when tried again but slower and no power? What would the cause be? Thanks
There could be several potential causes for the issue you're describing with your brushless 18Vlt paddle switch grinder.
- Overheating: If the grinder is running for an extended period of time, it can overheat and shut off as a safety measure. If this is the case, the grinder will need to cool down before it can be used again.
- Battery Issue: The grinder may be shutting off because the battery is not providing enough power. This can be caused by a damaged or worn out battery, or by a problem with the battery's connection to the grinder. Make sure the battery is fully charged, check and clean terminals, test battery with other tools, if there is no improvement consider getting new battery
- Power switch issue: The switch could have a problem and it's malfunctioning, preventing the grinder from operating properly. The switch may need to be replaced in order to fix the issue.
- Motor issue: A problem with the brushless motor itself, could cause it to shut off under load or malfunction. The motor may need to be inspected and repaired or replaced.
- Power supply: If the grinder is running off of AC power, rather than a battery, the power supply may be faulty or not providing enough power to the tool.
I suggest you to start with trying to identify the problem by eliminating each possibility one by one. If you are not comfortable troubleshooting and fixing the tool, it may be best to reach out to the manufacturer or take it to a professional repair shop.

Manual for Ryobi HBT250 Table saw
I'm sorry, but I do not have access to the instruction manual for the Ryobi HBT250 Table Saw. However, I can provide you with some general guidance on how to reinstall the motor on your table saw.
First, make sure you have all the necessary parts and hardware before you begin. Before installing the motor, check that the motor pulley is properly aligned with the arbor pulley, and that the belt is properly tensioned.
Next, you will need to mount the motor to the table saw. To do this, you will need to align the motor mount holes with the holes on the saw's base. Once the holes are aligned, use the bolts and washers that were provided with your saw to secure the motor to the base.
Once the motor is mounted, you will need to connect the electrical wires to the switch and power source. The wires are usually color coded, with one wire being black or white (neutral), and the other wire being a different color (hot). The neutral wire should be connected to the white terminal on the switch, and the hot wire should be connected to the black terminal.
After the motor is mounted and the wiring is connected, you will need to test the saw to make sure it is running properly. Turn on the saw and let it run for a few minutes to ensure that the motor is running smoothly and that the belt is properly tensioned.
If the saw is running properly, you should be all set. However, if you are still having trouble, it may be helpful to consult the instruction manual for your specific model of saw, or reach out to a professional for assistance.
Keep in mind safety instructions when working on the saw. If you don't feel comfortable with the task reach out to professional or consult the manual.

Bosch 1587vs blade won't tighten when installing
It sounds like you are having difficulty tightening the blade on your Bosch 1587vs jigsaw. To resolve this issue, first unplug the tool and lift up on the knob and loosen the spindle lock. Then insert the blade and push up slightly while doing so and twist to align the blade with the roller. Make sure to turn past resistance until it clicks. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the "clic" assembly, part #2-602-025-901.

How to replace quick release blade holder on Ryobi jigsaw
To replace the quick release blade holder on a Ryobi jigsaw, you will need to follow these steps:
- Unplug the jigsaw and remove the blade.
- Turn the jigsaw over and locate the blade holder.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screws that hold the blade holder in place.
- Once the screws are removed, you should be able to lift the blade holder out of the jigsaw.
- Insert the new blade holder into the jigsaw, making sure that it is properly aligned with the blade clamp.
- Secure the blade holder in place using the screws that you removed earlier.
- Reinsert the blade into the blade holder and make sure that it is properly secured.
- Test the jigsaw to make sure that the blade holder is properly installed and functioning as intended.
It's important to be careful when replacing the blade holder on a jigsaw, as the blade is sharp and can cause injuries if handled improperly. Make sure to use caution and follow the steps carefully to avoid accidents.

Kobalt 24v brushless reciprocating saw seizes when you pull trigger. It clicks (light comes on) but blade won't move
It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your Kobalt 24v brushless reciprocating saw. There could be a few potential causes for the saw to seize when the trigger is pulled and the blade won't move. Here are a few things you can try:
- Check the battery: Make sure that the battery is fully charged and properly installed in the saw. If the battery is low or not seated correctly, the saw may not have enough power to operate.
- Check the blade: Make sure that the blade is properly installed and tightened. If the blade is not properly installed or tightened, it may cause the saw to seize.
- Check the motor: If the motor is not functioning properly, it could cause the saw to seize. You may need to have the motor checked by a professional if this is the case.
- Check for debris: If there is debris stuck in the blade or in the saw, it could cause the saw to seize. Carefully remove any debris that you find.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to take the saw to a repair shop or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Lower blade guard alternatives?
Hi,
It sounds like you've called all 3rd party locations. Please call Bosch directly and request the part. And if they don't have it in the U.S. then you can request the phone number for their international locations. The U.S. phone number is 1-800-944-2904. Otherwise, I would search on ebay and alibaba to find the part that you've mentioned.
Thank you.
