Your start windings are toast. If it has a capacitor start (a big lump stuck to the side of the motor) it might be bad.

It is not ideal having a power strip due to the amps it draws, but the fact it hums, leads my to believe that the start/run capacitor on the motor might be failing.

The cutterhead is now exposed. If the eight screws in the cutterhead clamp are not visible, use a piece of scrap wood to carefully rotate the cutterhead (Fig. S) until the screws are accessible and the cutterhead lock lever18engages. Most table saws have a overload circuit breaker, check that. It is usually a red button that trips.

test switch for failure

First spray a little Liquid Wrench, wait awhile, then slide thin metal home made or not shim, sharpened & tapped in between the blade and the center nut. The idea is to make it one unit again. Later, put spanner on it to gently tap, counter-clockwise.

Grease and oil flow down hill. Check the bottom wheel .If you see any sign of lubricant at center of wheel ,you may have to change a seal at that area. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

have you checked voltage to saw, perhaps the power switch is bad, perhaps the gfci receptacle tripped.
