Televison & Video - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
I have a mag 254 iptv and a Hisense TV. The remote codes clash and the two are unusable in tandem. Can the remote control codes on the Hisense be changed?
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "
brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "
Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

I can't get HDMI on my Konka KL22es62q it keeps going to ypbpr
event sequence has been power on, blue screen displays, pressed HDMI button on the remote (KONKA KK-Y331G)
If you're having trouble getting HDMI input to work on your Konka KL22es62q TV and it keeps defaulting to YPbPr input, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. **Check HDMI Cable and Connections:**
- Ensure that your HDMI cable is securely connected to both the HDMI port on your TV and the HDMI output port on your external device (such as a cable box, DVD player, or gaming console).
- Try using a different HDMI cable to rule out any issues with the cable itself.
- Confirm that the HDMI port on your TV is not damaged or malfunctioning by testing it with another HDMI device if possible.
2. **Switch Input Source Manually:**
- Use the remote control that came with your Konka TV and press the "Source" or "Input" button. This button is usually labeled with an icon representing multiple input sources (e.g., boxes with arrows).
- Cycle through the input sources until you reach the HDMI input where your device is connected. It may be labeled as HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc., depending on how many HDMI ports your TV has.
3. **Reset TV Settings:**
- Navigate to the TV's menu using the remote control.
- Look for an option related to input sources, display settings, or system settings.
- Within the settings menu, there may be an option to reset the TV to its factory default settings. This can sometimes resolve input selection issues.
4. **Update Firmware (if applicable):**
- Check Konka's official website for firmware updates specific to your TV model.
- Follow the instructions provided by Konka to download and install any available firmware updates for your TV. Firmware updates can sometimes fix bugs or issues with input detection.
5. **Try a Different HDMI Port:**
- If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, try connecting your HDMI device to a different HDMI port on the TV.
- Switch to the corresponding HDMI input on the TV using the remote control and test if the HDMI input works on that port.
6. **Contact Konka Support:**
- If the issue persists after trying the above steps, reach out to Konka customer support for further assistance. Provide them with detailed information about your TV model, the issue with HDMI input, and any troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the HDMI input issue on your Konka KL22es62q TV.

Black and white screen only on DSTV?
RCA video cables handle analog signals. HDMI cables carry digital video signals. You need a converter. If you are using a component video converter, check if you swapped two of the three RCA video cables. (There are some A/V projectors that can do the translation of RCA and HDMI internally. Most TVs do not.)
I hope this helps.

(One of my family's TVs used a dongle to condense the analog video signal to a single port, swapping blue and green gave a black and white output, IIRC.)
My tv is blinking a blue light when I try to turn it on along with a popping sound.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the power supply or internal components of your Proscan PLDED5030A-RK TV. The blinking blue light and popping sound could indicate a malfunction that is preventing the TV from turning on properly.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Unplug the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for at least 10-15 minutes. This can help reset the internal components of the TV.
2. Check the power cord and connections to ensure they are secure and not damaged. If there are any visible signs of damage, such as frayed wires, replace the power cord.
3. Try plugging the TV into a different power outlet to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the power source.
4. If the issue continues, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician or the manufacturer for further assistance. They can diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate repairs.
It's important to exercise caution when dealing with electronic devices, especially when there are signs of malfunction such as unusual sounds or lights. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to seek help from a qualified professional.

Tcl power comes on but no picture or sound. Tv has backlight lights when powered on
Hello ! It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with your TCL TV. It's great that the backlight lights are working fine. The blinking *********** light and white screen definitely indicate a problem.
One possible issue could be with the internal circuitry or the display panel itself. It's best to contact TCL support or a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem. In the meantime, you can try power cycling the TV by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
As for uploading a video, you can try connecting your device to a computer and transferring the video file that way. Alternatively, you can upload the video to a platform like YouTube and share the link for others to view. I hope this helps!
