hi! i have a problem with my canon mp287, beacuse i can't reset the waste ink pad,

the hot place you are cleaning would be the fuser. are you using a heavier paper than normal? does the photocopier know you are using heavier paper?

If you are using a USB lead to connect, remove it and reconnect it. your computer should reconfigure it. If you are using a network cable or WIFI, there is a possibility you have set your printer using DHCP which enables your printer to automatically pick up and ip address, (this can change at any time) the problem with this is the driver on your pc will not automatically change the ip address (port) so has no way of sending data to your printer as the port it is trying to send the data too is offline or alternatively assigned to another device. I would set your printer up on a static ip address and change the port in your driver to match.

Firstly try attaching scanner to a computer running an earlier version of windows and confirm the scanner is working OK. If you are satisfied the scanner works the problem may lie in the fact the Windows VISTA does not have the necessary driver and/or does not support this scanner. Your alternative is to go to hamrick.com and download a trial version of vuescan which should get the sanner working. If it does, then may be worthwhile investing in the program and happy scanning.

This error is idicating that the fuser motor is not turning. Rotate the green fuser knob to see if it is hard to turn. If freely turning then a gear, motor, or DC Controller board is bad. If hard to turn then try to find what is keeping it from turning. The motor Assy is behind the cover right next to the fuser knob. Good Luck.

Feel luckly you are getting an error, mine doesn't even show in error code.

Have you tried reinstalling your printer?

Try, delete cannon G2400 then restore your printer!

Needs deep cleaning do it twice!

Go to your printer scan mode and correct colour tone
