Shutter problems
I am having a similar problem with my eos 100QD.
shutter opens, then stays open until I depress the shutter switch again.
Sometimes about half my photos are lost on a roll, but the other photos are fine (as would be expected from how the film is wound). This problem looks like it's caused by the shutter mechanism failing, a common problem with older camera and one that is often more expensive to repair than it is to replace the body.
Canon 12x36 is ii stabilization is not working properly. Stabilization
tends to want to stray.
Hello, I think dust, smudges, or fingerprints on the lenses can affect image quality and stabilization performance. Use a soft, lint-free cloth or lens cleaning solution to gently clean the lenses of your binoculars. Make sure not to apply excessive pressure or use abrasive materials that could scratch the lens surface. Moreover, when using image-stabilized binoculars, it's important to hold them steadily and avoid sudden movements. Rest your elbows on a stable surface or use a tripod if possible to minimize hand tremors. Ensure that you're using proper stabilization techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the stabilization feature.

Canon Digital IXUS 500 5.0MP is not powering on when CF card inserted.
In general Compact Flash Cards have to be formatted within the camera that is using them as they use a format proprietary to that camera. Also there are size limits on cards. If your camera will only take 16 Mb cards and you put a 32 Mb card in, it will not read it. It sees it as 'No Card Present'.
I think the other answer is an AI Answer Bot.

I have a Canon IXY digital 930 IS camera and its FUNC.SET. button(aka ok button) is not working and i want to reset the camera because all functions aren't working properly.so how to reset the camera.
To reset your Canon IXY Digital 930 IS camera, you can follow these steps:
- Turn off the camera: Make sure the camera is powered off.
- Locate the menu button: On the back of the camera, you should see a button labeled "MENU." This is typically used to access the camera's menu settings.
- Press and hold the menu button: With the camera powered off, press and hold the MENU button for a few seconds.
- Power on the camera: While still holding the MENU button, press the power button to turn on the camera. Continue holding the MENU button until you see the camera's menu screen.
- Reset the camera: Once the menu screen appears, navigate through the menu options using the arrow buttons on the camera. Look for a "Reset" or "Factory Reset" option. The specific location and wording may vary depending on the camera model. Select this option to initiate the reset process.
- Confirm the reset: The camera will likely prompt you to confirm the reset action. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm and proceed with the reset.
- Wait for the reset: The camera will perform the reset process, which may take a few moments. Once the reset is complete, the camera settings should be restored to their default values.

Canon powershot A530 gives me memory card error works with my 16Mb SD card but not with my new 2GB SD card
If the original card works this could be an issue with the card itself. If you can, connect the 2Gb to a computer and see if it still gives you problems. While you have it connected 'Format' it. This is basically resetting the memory card. Try this.
Connect the card to the computer. Open the File Explorer, (the little folder shaped icon), at the very bottom left of the screen. The memory card should be listed in the box on the left side. Right click the card, (press the Right mouse button once). Another box should appear with a list including the word 'Format'. Click it and follow the instructions. When finished use the same Right Click method and 'Eject' the card. This just tells the computer your removing the card. Retry it in your camera.
