Reset ink level on CANON MP 140 PIXMA PRINTER
How to reset the Canon MP150 after a refill (Step 10 concerns refill; instructions below the steps):
Method1 (Safe Factory Method):
1) Disconnect the printer’s power outlet
2) Press and hold the power button while connecting the power outlet back.
3) While still holding down the power button, press the reset button twice.(red circle with a triangle)
4) Release the power button
The printer takes about 10 seconds to show the number 0.
5) Press + to change the value from 0 to 1.
6) When this value is 1, press colour button; this will light up two leds.
One is for plain paper and the other for photo paper. At this point is feed the printer with paper.
7) Press the power button twice and the printer will print a some stuff (if it doesn't print by itself, then press the "color" button once and the test sheet will print). Don’t worry much about the printed material. I got some stripped lines and some numbers. I believe that my colour cartridge is clogged which is why I got the green strips.
When you print this sheet the value in the display returns to zero.
8 ) Open the printer cover cover (not the scanner cover) and remove the cartridges. With the printer still open, disconnect the power outlet.
9) Close the lid and turn on the printer.
10) Refill cartridges and place them back in their nice little abode in the printer.

Paper jam in canon printer mx432
I took Ekse suggestion to start off with by turning off the printer; opening the front cover and removing the ink cartridges. Behind where the color cartridge goes is a light blue wheel. I took a letter opener and gently tried to move it. It moved and after a few turns it loosened the paper and I was able to gently removed the whole sheet of paper. I'm by far a techy but have been known to take care of paper jams. This little machine had me baffled because the back was of no use like other machines.
Canon Pixma MP470, paper feed not straight
Hi Dave
First thing to check is that the left hand paper guide (as you look at the printer from the front) is up tight against the edge of the paper stack in the feeder. I've seen many printers where (over the course of day to day use) the paper guide has progressively moved itself to the left so that the paper is not held at all. The pick-up for the paper is at the bottom right hand corner and if the guide is loose the paper can skew as it goes in - and then it only gets worse.
Another possibility (and this has just happened to me) is that the long piece of sponge that runs the length of the platen (you'll only see it if you open the top and shine a light in) has come adrift slightly. Mine actually came completely out after 2 or three skewed/crumpled sheets. I washed it, dried it out with kitchen towel and then carefully refitted it. Now the printer is running like a demon.
Let us know what your outcome is.
My canon MP620 Paper Jam Pull out the Jam Paper Al
There are pieces of paper stock on the sensor, when the paper jam happened then you pull out the paper did you get the whole page of the
paper or have missing pieces? open the paper guide, turn off and on the
printer and observe the unusual objects in the roller, this error is
caused by objects in the sensor.
Canon MP 510 paper jam
I had the same problem and found a small coin in the back feeder. Remove the back coverplate and tip the machine onto its back and give it a good shake. You might be surprised at what falls out.
My canon mx310 keeps showing a paper jam alarm and there is no paper jam. how do I fix it?
give this a try
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
- Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
- Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
- If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
- If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by
holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the
paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling
out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
- If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do
this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any
obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
- Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or
ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the
printer back on.
- If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
- see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

Load
a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume
button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the
printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.
Error #1003 no paper. load
All you need is just to turn the paper upside down. This printer requires the paper with the glossy face down.
Canon mg2520 paper will not feed
I second heather's response. Turns out my wife dropped her tweezers in there.......... Back up and running!
If you open the ink door, you can pick the tract/roller up a little and see if anything is under it. It's spring loaded so dont lift to high. 9/10 chance something fell in the paper shoot! Keep the lid closed when not using!
