Hi - there is no

There aapparently is no reset proceedure other than cycling the power. You don't tell us if you are on battery or an adapter. Use of incorrect adapter or failing batteries could cause this. The lights run LONG after the batteries will no longer generate sounds. If on an adapter, try using fresh batteries to see if it might work on battery... if it does, then your adpater or the connector may be bad.

I have a Casio CTK-711ex keyboard .How easy is it to replace the ac input?ta John.

If you have the part, you need a soldering iron, solder wick and solder. Apply heat with the iron to the lugs on the input that protrude through the circuit board, and apply solder wick to desolder the bad part - do this for all the contacts. Remove the bad connector, place the new one and heat the lugs one at a time, once the iron has been on the lug for several seconds, apply the solder to the lug and hold for a second or two. When the solder melts and flows remove the iron and the solder. Allow it to cool - repeat for all the lugs. A good solder joint is shiny. A bad one is dull, and that is called a cold solder joint. If you get a bad one, just heat it back up and wick the solder away and start over.

Some black keys above Middle C on my Casio Privia PX-130 keyboard are now raised and will not press down. What should I do?

My guess would be they have been pulled up out of the normal position. Do they still press down and sound? if you remove the keybed and the contact strip you can then reposition them. The worry is that when they are forced up they sometimes crack the circuit board underneath. the keys have a hook type arrangement that should stop the, lifting up. maybe open and report back with some photos of what you find and more advice might be available. Casio ctk574 don't power up

First of all ensure you are using the correct power adaptor and that it is providing the correct voltage and polarity. If that is all OK try powering up whilst apply light upwards pressure to the connector ( then try with light downward pressure ) If it lights up momentarily or constantly whilst turning on the problem is probably a loose connection which will require soldering. If nothing then either the connection has been badly damaged or the solder tracks on the pcb have failed. If you have used the wrong voltage / polarity adaptor you may have damaged circuitry which will probably require specialist repair. I hope this helps. Good luck. post any responses back and we might be able to help further.

No sound output when I plug in the damper peddle. Casio cdp135. Any suggestions about what is wrong?

My initial thought would be as there is no sound that you have plugged the cable into the wrong socket. Please double check carefully and report back.

I want to down load the soft wear of casio lk 70s keyboard but don't find it

You can find the software for Casio LK-70S here: https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=20 .Look for the driver for the keyboard under the Digital Keyboard/Piano (excluding the PL-40R). Select the appropriate link and then scroll down to the Download button. Another file is the SMF converter. The conversion software is here: http://music.casio.com/e/smf/ . Scroll down to find the download links. This software works with Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Windows XP (32-bit) and Vista (32-bit). I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

How can i do the reset factory for a piano Casio Privia PX-120?? It have the tone/settings button but not the function button. anyone know?

You don't need to reset factory. You just need to change the setting of LOCAL CONTROL. Lets start ::: While holding TONE / SETTING button, press key D#7 at 7th octave (highest octave on the right hand). Then release. That's all. Then the sound must be heard.. 25557808-tdcpi2jrd5dx0fpyx5gf2f1d-3-0.jpg

Casio CDP - 120 turns itself off

Casio CDP has Auto Power Off: 30 minutes after last key operation, Auto Power Off can be disabled. Please read the manual. If it turns itself off while playing, I would try to buy a new AC Adapter to test. DC cable of AC adapters are often broken internally after much "bending".

I jave disassembled my Casio CDP 100, to check a couple of dead keys, how do I remove the key wothout breaking it..

You need first of all to remove the cover, access the keybed, remove from keyboard base and then you will be able to remove a key - it is impossible without following this procedure.
