You need to re-install the firmware, not the original one, but a clean version that is available here: http://www.craigelectronics.com/firmware_update/android4.0/cmp741e_firmware4.0_cleaner.rarWill reboot several times, and fail the first run, but it will work on restart. It has worked for me and at least 2 other people that I know of.
Go to Google or you tube and enter the information of you device that you intend to fix. I did it when my clr get broken , I get a video step by step. Good luck.
