When you get to the screen that says "Enter the passcode for your keyboard", just under the box where you would enter a passcode if you had one is the phrase, "Or try entering a passcode on it". You will notice that this phrase is gray instead of white. It is a link. Tap on that phrase, and your tablet will display a new passcode. Type this passcode on your keyboard and press enter. They will then pair.

It may be your power settings. Your tablet may actually be going to sleep, rather than just turning off. Go to your Search and type "power options". "Power Options" should show up for your to click. Hello.

You can check if the battery had somehow got out of it's place.

Also it may be a software related issue, as a fix you can first try to plug it using the usb cable to your computer.
