HI. I have a Dewalt 20 volt impact the lights stayed on for long time now it stopped working all together when pulling trigger

Are you referring to the percentage of charge indicating lights on the battery pack? If so, the battery is most likely bad. What did the flashing light on the charger indicate when you tried to charge the battery? There is a flash sequence (called out next to the light) that indicates if there is a battery fault.

Dewalt charger blinks rapidly shortly after inserting battery for recharge

The battery has a damaged cell or a loose connection inside. Also if u have another battery check it in charger and if the same happens with it then its a problem with the charger.

Which is the voltage input? 110v? or can be use

If you are talking about the battery charger it is 120 volts AC. Do NOT try and use a higher voltage as you will damage the charger and it is dangerous. If you turn the charger over there is a decal on the bottom with the specs which will show it as 120 volts.

My dewalt 18 volt Dc988 XRP will not engage when you squeeze the trigger all the time. It goes in streaks or is intermittent. Also the variable speed is not working. it only goes one speed.

Your switch is having a problem it can be caused by excessive load on the motor. The motor must be sounds not shrill and must have power , the most people think on the batteries but in more case by switch problems its the motor there is a field effect transistor inside the switch behind the cooling brass plate thats shorted and that is for the variable rpm . Replace switch and if the motor sounds good then the problem should solved. if also the motor is bad go for a new replacement body ask your dealer.

My chuck on my dewalt 18 volt comes undone in reverse its fine going forward what would be the problem

If you look at the end of the shaft on the drill after it unscrews, there will be a hole with threads inside--if not the screw may have broken off---your missing screw that holds the chuck on--it's a left handed threaded screw---it's head may be slotted--philips---torx---or allen---this is available at your Dewalt dealer or tool repair---all that needed is the size/model number of unit---screw the chuck back on tightly then open chuck jaws all the way then put the holding screw in---tighten it down---REMEMBER IT'S LEFT HANDED----GL
